CANDY
Candy is really “in” right now. The bride and groom buy bulk amounts of their favorite small candies (M&M’s, Skittles, Jelly Bellies, Runts, etc.) and they place them in large different shaped jars with their own scoop. Colorful bags are placed on the table so that guests can fill them with candy on their way out of the reception as a customized favor.
EXTEND THE CELEBRATION
Holding your wedding and reception on different days continues to grow in popularity. Couples who have done this say they didn’t feel nearly so rushed and enjoyed their guests more.
SCRAPBOOKED INITATIONS
Invitations with a “scrapbooked” look to them are also becoming more and more popular. Brides like the idea of being able to match the colors of their invitation to their wedding.
