We received our beautiful dress today, and it fits like a dream! This is the "Brendee" dress. My daughter will be wearing it for her Confirmation in May. She literally ran into the house, dropped her books on the counter, and ran into my bedroom to try the dress on after school! It is absolutely beautiful in every way: the perfect length, and very modest and girlish. Our church, like yours, teaches that modest apparel is a must, but especially while in church. I had a terrible time looking in stores trying to find a dress that was not only modest, but that Rachel would love and look forward to wearing on this special day. It has taken a long time for me to send this, but I would like to express my thanks to your company for the products that you provide. Last spring my 17-year-old daughter entered our county queen contest. We were more than a little discouraged as we searched store after store for a formal gown that met our criteria: modest, long enough for her 5'9" height, and beautiful enough to make her feel confident as she stood on stage with the other contestants, none of whom would be wearing a modest gown. What we wanted was no where to be found. We finally turned to the internet and found your website. The dress "Azalea" seemed a great choice. We called to find out if it would be long enough, and the sales lady actually went out on the floor for us to measure the one on the mannequin. We awaited its arrival with some apprehension, still a bit concerned what we would do if it did not fit or arrive in time. To our great relief and pleasure it not only arrived promptly, but it fit her perfectly! I was also well pleased with the craftsmanship. It was just as... The night of the contest we were all taken a little by surprise when her name was announced as the winner! The judges later told me that her formal gown was perfect and advised us to use it in the state contest. Thank you so much for helping to make one little girl's dream come true. For one night, she truly felt like a queen.

My daughter's wedding was months ago on December 13th and I want you to know that you were so amazingly helpful over the phone and took a crisis situation in not having a dress or hardly any time to order to making it the most amazing day ever! Not only did you happen to have THE dress she loved but you had it shipped out and were so helpful in calming me that one of the dresses you had in stock would eventually work, since we could not fly out there from WA to see them. She loved her dress and we had it altered and it was amazing! Everyone raved about it AND I have since given everyone (probably 20 people) your magazine and website.

My name is Lori Anderson and I am a wedding and portrait photographer from Southern California.
I'm also proud to say that I bought my wedding dress from Latter Day Bride for my own wedding in 2005. While my husband and I aren't LDS, we are Christian and we have conservative values. My husband Keith also works for an LDS family-owned computer company. I had the hardest time trying to find a modest wedding gown until I found your website. It was so comforting to find an online shop that actually sells gorgeous wedding dresses that have sleeves! :) I attached a photo of me and my husband Keith on our wedding day.
I was also recently excited to find out about the Community section on your website. I noticed that you have a section on your site that recommends photographers. Are these free listings? I just wanted to let you all know how wonderful it was to enter your store looking for my wedding dress. My now sister-in-law had bought her dress from you and I was there for that so of course I came back for my own day. I didn\t grow up in an area of the country where modesty is thought of but what surprized me most was that Latter Day Bride is the only store that I found in the entire valley, and I went to at least 10, that the entire collection is modest. So thank you for making it easy to support modesty. Also, you never made me feel rushed and paid great attention to me even when there were so many other brides there. I just wanted to let you know about our time in your shop. Last Friday, my husband, a sister-in-law and myself arrived at your shop with our daughter. Barbara and a girlfriend had been there the day before trying on wedding dresses. We were there to help her make the final decision. As soon as we walked in the door, Heidi and Becky greeted Barbara as if they were lifelong friends. Heidi immediately remembered the three dresses that Barbara had selected to show us. As Barbara is our only daughter - among three brothers, I asked Becky if I could take a few pictures of the event. She assured me that I could take all the pictures I wanted. After I assisted Barbara into the first dress, Becky provided a box of Kleenex for my husband. Lynn definitely needed it. This is his little girl. Heidi was such a dear. She remembered Barbara's favorite veils and tiara. When she noticed that something was missing, she brought out the crystal necklace. It was just the right finishing touch. We had such a pleasant time. It was just us in the shop. Heidi and Becky did not push and shove. They let us decide. They were there to answer questions and make suggestions. Thank you so very much for making this a truly great experience.

(Out of curiousity, how do you go about choosing couples for your featured weddings?) I've been searching for modest gowns and bridesmaids' dresses since September now and I keep coming back to your site and magazine. I received my wedding gown on Monday and just wanted to let you know how perfect it is. I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the gorgeous beadwork as I had thought it only had embroidery. My expectations have been surpassed and I cannot wait to wear it on my special day. In addition, it fits like a glove and the only alteration needed is the hem. Thank you so much for helping my dream of feeling like a beautiful bride come true. I couldn't find a beautiful, modest dress, in my size and more importantly price range anywhere in Modesto. It was so reassuring to know that even though I live in a different state, all I had to do was pick up the phone and my questions or concerns would be taken care of. Just a note to thank you for the assistance in choosing the perfect dress/size for my daughter's first formal. The size 10 worked very well and she was one of two girls at the ball with sleeves. I can tell you she was the most gorgeous. One of my friends requested your website address for future use (and her daughters quite often do not wear sleeve or even shoulders for that matter); she was that impressed. We received Sasha's dress today. She tried it on and it is PERFECT!! It won't even need any alterations. Thank you for the timely way that you exchanged it, since the wedding is in 2 weeks. The dress was more beautiful than it pictured and suits her to a T. Everything is falling into place now which is a relief and if the weather cooperates, we wouldn't be able to ask for more. Again, thank you so much for your sweet and kind help with the dress and I will recommend to other LDS people here because you just can't find modest wedding gowns around here at all.
