How to Find Your Modest Wedding Gown Online

1. Understand what “modest” means. Select a reputable company who specializes in modest wedding gowns for temple marriages. A gown can very well look modest, but could be slightly off from what you need. If you have any questions about a particular gown, don’t be afraid to ask.
2. Know the company’s quality level. It is easy for a company to say they have high standards, so you have to do your homework to make sure.  Two gowns from different companies can look very similar, but can be made quite differently.  Remember a better fit from the beginning means fewer alterations. 2. Measure around the fullest part of your bust (not underneath), your waistline, and your hips.  Your waistline is your natural waistline and not necessarily where you wear your pants.  Hips are usually six to eight inches below your waistline.

Keep in mind for most wedding gown styles, the most important measurements are your bust and waist.  Also, if you are between sizes decide whether you want it to be real snug or comfortable. Typically ordering the larger size and having an experienced seamstress take it in a little is less expensive than having to let out a waistline.
