Where are my engaged folks who are planning a winter wonderland wedding, or even better, a Christmas wedding?! Meet Bae and Nate, a beautiful couple who did just that, and pulled it off beautifully.
Bae and Nate's special day was a dream come true, complete with twinkling lights, a beautiful tree, and creamy white florals. Everything from the snow to the rich blue and silver color scheme to the sparkly snowflake accents made this Christmas wedding feel truly magical. Bae looked absolutely stunning in our "Bronson" gown, accessorized with bedazzled heels adorned by a delicate bow. Her hair fell in soft waves, pulled half up in an intricate twist topped off with a jaw-dropping brooch and sparkly veil. She kept her bouquet simple yet beautiful, with a huge bunch of ivory roses and rich peeking greenery. A soft smoky eye and pink lip color enhanced her beautiful features perfectly. Did I mention that at their reception, they sang to each other?! It's completely obvious how in love they are with each other, they look at one another with complete adoration. Scroll down a bit to see the pictures, and try not to get misty eyed.
Bae chose one of our most beautiful and unique modest wedding gowns, the "Bronson". This a-line/ballgown is a show-stopper all around. The sparkling lace accents throughout the tulle skirt were perfect for this winter wedding. The elbow length illusion sleeves and the Queen Anne illusion neckline add drama and undeniable beauty, and the buttons that trail down the back add a delicate flair.
It certainly wouldn't be a Christmas wedding without a tree, and this one was decorated to absolute perfection. Whites, silvers, and subtle golds looked so magical!
A bubbly sendoff from their loved ones ended their night on a perfect note. Thanks for joining us to swoon over this beautiful Christmas wedding. See you next time! XO

Okay you guys, I have such a fun one to share with you today! I was recently contacted by the sweetest bride to share her enchanting winter wedding and her beautiful customized modest gown.
So before we get into the pictures and the gorgeous details of this winter wedding, let me share their love story with you. I can't think of any person who could tell it better than the bride herself, so I'll tell you exactly what she told me! "I was born and raised in Colorado, big time Denver Bronco's fan (he is too now ), outdoors lover, lacrosse player, and chocolate addict. He was born and raised in Idaho, and lived in Ririe, Idaho all of growing up. He is an awesome basketball player, big lover of Mexican food, binges on pizza and Netflix with me, and is also a total outdoors lover. I could go on and on about his qualities now so I'll just leave it at this- he's honestly just the man of my dreams. We met in college at a country dance, which is kind of funny because both of our parents met at a dance too... dances are lucky places for our families apparently! It was also funny that he was there because... he doesn't dance. Haha. His friend had him come for the last part of the dance that night, and it just so happened that that friend that drug him there that night was also a friend of mine that taught me how to country dance. Our mutual friend found me and said he wanted to me to come dance with his pal he had brought, and I wasn't really wanting to at first, but after asking a couple of times, I went with him to his friend (little did I know he was taking me to my husband!)... and lo and behold, there stood this tall dark and handsome man 😍. We danced to the last song of the night, (it was cute that he didn't know the steps, but we were more focused on talking to each other anyways) and the rest is history!" So there you have it. Isn't that such a cute story??
Alexandra and Andrew were sealed in the Logan, UT temple in January. They celebrated their beautiful winter wedding with a reception at The Serano Event center in Rigby, ID and as you'll see, it was a dream! Beautiful whites and warm colors, beautiful lights, and of course, snow! (you can't have a winter wedding without snow, right?) Alexandra's bouquet was perfect against the snowy landscape, with an assortment of rich greenery created by the master florists at Freckle Farm. Their cake was a white cake with raspberry filling and a white chocolate buttercream, with ribbons of naked cake subtly showing through and an adornment of beautiful green. Just lovely. She said it was so delicious that they couldn't even save any for their one year anniversary! Julie Brizzee must know her stuff!!
Alexandra chose the perfect gown for her magical winter wedding. She bought it at Amanda's Bridal and Tux in Colorado and had it altered for modesty. Kirsten Arvenitis from The Original Sewing Room in Parker, CO worked her magic and custom made the top of the dress to cover her garments. It turned out so beautiful! I love the illusion lace and the lace details along the skirt.
I hope you love this beautiful winter wedding as much as I do! I love a happy ending.

This warm weather that we're (finally) getting here in Salt Lake City is making me sooooo happy. I've been working in my garden and taking my kids outside to play as much as possible to soak it up. In the spirit of summertime, I'm super duper excited to share this gorgeous Los Angeles Temple wedding with you! Wait until you see the bride, she is STUNNING. She chose our modest Aviana dress and I think you'll agree that it was the perfect choice.
First of all, I want to share their love story with you! Both Natalie and Cameron are from California. They met while they were working at the Polynesian Cultural Center as tour guides while also attending BYU Hawaii in 2013. They started hanging out after participating in Samoan Club practices together for a culture night performance, and starting dating soon after. Cameron was very serious about being with Natalie, but she had a mission call to Tokyo, Japan. Although he really hoped she would stay home, he supported her decision to go. While she was on her mission, they wrote occasionally as friends (oh please, guys) until she came home. She went back to BYU Hawaii and Cameron had already graduated from college but still wanted to end up with Natalie. They dated long distance for 2.5 months and got engaged. Their engagement lasted 8 months while Natalie finished school, and once she graduated they were married in the Los Angeles temple in April of this year! Ahhhh, love. It's the best.
I'm just a bit obsessed with her bouquet. Succulents and creamy white flowers, so simple yet so sophisticated and lovely. I also didn't know how beautiful the Los Angeles Temple was! And the palm trees on the grounds just make it all the more dreamy.
Soooo the dress! The Aviana has a gorgeous mermaid sillhouette covered in beautiful lace leading to an illusion lace train. Flattering, feminine, and flowy. The perfect choice for this summery Los Angeles Temple wedding.
I hope you enjoyed the eye candy from this gorgeous Los Angeles Temple wedding! See you next time! XO

The weather is warming up, the flowers are starting to bloom, and people are starting to hit nurseries to stock up on all their favorite things to grow in their yards and flowerbeds. What better way to celebrate springtime than to feature a beautiful garden wedding?! Get ready to meet the cutest couple in the most beautiful indoor garden setting, complete with every detail carefully thought through by a fantastic group of vendors.
Where should we begin? How about the venue? J&J Nursey and Garden Center is Utah's largest producing nursery! They have over 100 acres of nursery and 37 years of experience! Not to mention it's GORGEOUS. Just look at this.
How about this couple? Keat and Char are SOOO in love and you can tell. These first look shots are just too adorable for words. Also, they look like just about the happiest people ever. I'd totally hang out with them!
The hairpins are one of my favorite parts of this wedding. They are from an Etsy shop called Gems and Bones, and you have to check it out to believe all the amazing things the girl who runs it can do. Seriously. Go NOW.
Time to focus on the cake, flowers, and invitations.
The cake is covered in a simple, silky smooth, white buttercream with soft ruffles at the bottom of each tier. It's so beautiful and charming. I love that Marcia Hill, owner of Sweet Cravings, was able to create such a stunning cake without a bunch of unneeded bells and whistles.
The flowers are just perfect. Shades of purple pop amongst the pinks and whites, with simple and light greenery. They go along with this garden wedding theme without blending in or clashing with the other flowers and greenery in the shoot. Meg, owner of The Flower Girl, really nailed it!
The invitations!!! They are a dream! Do the flowers on the invite not match the actual flowers here? It's unreal. The colors all marry perfectly and I absolutely love the gold script and envelope used. You can thank Katie Blakely for this invitation eye candy. I just love collaborations! They turn out so magical.
I'm loving her hair, too. Elegant waves, half up to the side, intricate braiding, and flattering face framing tendrils. How did she do it?? Emily Scott of Elegance by Em is a hair wizard.
Alright, we have to talk about this tie. Is it not the most adorable thing you've ever seen? Does it get any more perfect for a garden wedding than a floral tie? The answer is no. And this isn't floral like your grandmother's couch, it's a classy, attractive, beautiful floral. Check out The Daily Knot, they're the ones responsible for this thing of perfection.
Okay, twist my arm, I guess it's time to talk about this gorgeous gown, the Roslyn. The bodice is made of a delicate lace that meets soft, drapey (is that a word? It is now.), flowy tulle skirt. A satin ribbon separates bodice and skirt at the smallest part of your waist, making this gown as flattering as it is beautiful. Soft buttons trail along the back of the gown, tapering off a bit once the skirt begins. One of the other great things is that it's affordable! Under $760 bucks. Princesslike but also classic and understated, the Roslyn is a winner with many modest brides.
Char's makeup is perfect. Nothing overpowering to mask her beauty, only light, glowy, natural touches to enhance her lovely features, perfect for a garden wedding. She looks absolutely radiant. A++ to Sarah of The Perfect Look!
The beautiful styling and photography of this shoot is the work of the fabulous Rachelle Monae. She captured so many smiles, so much love, and so much fun. The lighting is perfect and she managed to make this couple look so glowing and warm. Gives me the warm fuzzies. She also captured every detail of the cake, flowers, hair, accessories, and darling features of this bride and groom. We're so thankful our dress was chosen to be a part of this shoot, thank you for joining us to ogle over this beautiful garden wedding. See you next time! XO
